This
is what the beast looked like the day I got him... Note the excessive
play on the end of the choker collar.
This is the beast playing with his woman "TESS" at
his uncle's house.
and this is what the beast looks
like now 50 pounds heavier and full grown. The collar shown above
would have to be broken just to attempt putting it around his
neck as he is now twice his original size.

This picture was taken New Years 1999. 2 feet of snow and it's time to play...... Even if it's midnight.

Time to EAT!!!
In case you haven't figured it out by now, the beast is a dog. His name is Charlie....AKA Chuck, Chucker, Chuckie, Charlie dog, Charlie Moose, Bubba, Nuckle head, Butt head, Asshole, Jaws, and Baby. He is great with kids and loves to play. When he plays it is rough housing all of the way, trying to stop a 100 pound charging dog is no small task. He is very protective of his domain, hates cats (hee hee hee hee), and lets the entire neighborhood whose yard they are passing by. He does not know how to jump the fence, or has no desire to, so passersby are physically safe.
He was picked up as a stray and was on his way to the pound when I got him. Upon bringing him home, he proceeded to `mount up' on my leg and start going to town (natural for a 3-4 month old male dog). He soon found himself on the other side of the room wondering what happened. He has not tried it again since then. That's pretty much the way it is with him, tell him once, and he remembers. That's what makes him such a pleasure to have around. HE LISTENS and LEARNS. He loves to meet new people as long as I am with him and there is no aggression. He will meet aggression with aggression and I'll bet he wins. Just like any dog, it would be un-wise to approch him alone. He DOES have teeth. I've seen this dog bite a ham-bone in half with one chomp of the jaws.
Epilog. Unfortunately Charlie escaped the yard (method still unknown) in spring of 2001. Due to resulting incedents, Charlie had to be put down. He was my best friend as well as my personal security system. He is deeply missed.
